Apply to become a Coach
If you want to coach a team with St Georges Basin Football Club, you will need complete the below application form. Before submitting, we need you to read and agree to the following;
- Coaches Agreement for Coaches Code of Conduct;
- Football NSW Coaches Code of Conduct; and
- St Georges Basin Football Club Code of Conduct
- Child Protection Form (for teams aged 18 or under);
APPLICATION APPROVAL
All applications will be reviewed by the board, with successful candidates being contacted directly.

Coaches Code of Conduct
1. I agree to abide by the Football NSW Coaches Code of Conduct
2. I acknowledge that St Georges Basin Football Club Inc. may take disciplinary action against me, if I breach the code of conduct.
3. I understand that St Georges Basin Football Club Inc.is required to implement a complaint handling procedure in accordance with the principles of natural justice, in the event of an allegation against me.
4. I acknowledge that disciplinary action against me may include de-registration from St Georges Basin Football Club Inc.
5. I agree to ensure my team is aware of and adheres to both the St Georges Basin FC code of conduct and Football NSW code of conduct, and understand that failure of players to do this is a direct responsibility of me as a coach
6. I agree to register as a coach and provide photo ID at myfootballclub.com.au
7. I agree to register for a NSW Volunteers Working With Children check at
www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-working-children-check
St Georges Basin Football Club CODE OF CONDUCT
1. Players will behave in a way which represents and promotes our club’s ethos of good sportsmanship, respect for all players and officials and spectators.
2. Players will respect the decisions of referees and understand that in line with SDFA’s Zero Tolerance policy, any abuse or violence will result in suspensions, fines to the club, loss of competition points and expulsions from all competition. (This also applies to all officials and volunteers engaged by St Georges Basin Football Club)
3. Players will not engage in violence, bullying or slander of other players and officials, on or off the field. (This extends to social media)
4. Players will show respect to all other players regardless of gender, age, ability, sexual orientation, culture and religious beliefs.
5. Players will take responsibility for their actions.
