St Georges Basin Football Club would like to take the opportunity to tell you a little about our club and what it means to be a sponsor of our wonderful club.

Our 2024 was a fantastic season, despite the heavy rainfall throughout the season, we played on! We celebrated our 60^th year as a club and all took advantage in joining our proud history.  Basin FC continued to grow with over 400 players register for the season, all keen to get their boots on. We fielded 18 non-competition and 11 competition teams in our juniors and 8 senior teams which consisted of 4 Women’s teams – 1^st, 2^nd and two Over 30’s teams and 5 Men’s teams – 1^st, 2^nd, and two 3^rd Grade teams.

These numbers, backing up from a large number of registrations over the last few years, just go to show we are going from strength to strength and are at a club which is the envy of the Shoalhaven!

We saw 10 teams go on to play finals football (5 Junior and 5 Senior) and secured 2 grand final victory – the first our Basin Dragons 3^rd Grade Red Men’s team, with an excellent 2-0 victory and then our Under 10A team with a strong win of 6-3. Our seniors saw 2 men’s teams (1sts and 3^rd White) make it to the week before the Semi-finals and 2^nd Grade fight it out in the Grand Final but lost by 1 debatable goal. Our Basin women had success with the Basin Over-30s Red team unfortunately taken out in the Semi Final round. Juniors 10C, 12 Red Girls and 12B mixed teams all competed in the semi-finals and 11A fighting until the end of the hot and steamy Grand final day, with a disappointing 1 point loss.

With assistance from sponsors we were able to purchase assets for the club to make life easier for all and enjoy their time at the club. These assets included a new pie oven for local bakery pies, new signage and 60 year banners displaying the clubs spirt over the years and our container ventilation installed by long time sponsor Kelly’s Metal Roofing. The new Veo Camera System was used for game analytics, live stream games and training. Having the Veo was a huge success and so many players loved watching the replay and the stats each week after game day. Being our 60^th year, we celebrated with all our members, we were able to purchase a very popular giant blow up soccer dart board, held a free sausage sizzle for all that came.  

We were also able to purchase a whole clubs worth of balls and bags for the team kits and just arrived is our new 2025 team strips for all competition teams incorporating our custom designed indigenous design made just for our club by locals in our community. We can’t wait to show them off at the first week of the season.

Moving into 2025, our club has continued to grow providing more opportunities for our passionate Basin members, improving our clubhouse and fields. We aim to field as many and possibly more teams than last year, support our coaches with assistance in coaching plans and continue building our junior female teams.

We have, as always many projects we are wishing to deliver for our members and the broader community, we are working hard with council for the upgrade of our field lights that we heavily rely on over winter.  We continue to fund and assist eligible players unable to afford registration, making sport accessible for all, as well as continuing with our 2022 Initiative we call Rising Flames, aimed at keeping late teens involved in local sport, through financial support as they move through into seniors. The Rising Flames is funded by Life Members of the club and donations.

Our club would like to invite you to assist us in supporting our members via sponsorship. Below are our current packages, we are currently working on a wishlist concept, where sponsors assist with specific items the club needs, with sponsor branding, for example seating with sponsors logo attached. We are also open to suggestions and ideas.
