- St Georges Basin Football Club is bound by Football NSWs policies and procedures which covers (but is not limited to) the following topics (To view these policies, please visit www.footballnsw.com.au/resources):

- St Georges Basin Football Club’s basic code of conduct is such that:
- Members will behave in a way which represents and promotes our club’s ethos of good sportsmanship, respect for all players, officials and spectators.
- Members will respect the decisions of referees and understand that in line with SDFA’s Zero Tolerance policy, any abuse or violence will result in suspensions, fines to the club, loss of competition points and expulsions from all competition. (This policy applies to all officials)
- Members will not engage in violence, bullying or slander of other players and officials, on or off the field. (This extends to social media)
- Members will show respect to all other members regardless of gender, ability (referring to players/coaches), culture etc.
- Players will take responsibility for their actions
- Members failing to adhere to the club’s code of conduct, or members behaving in such a way that goes against FNSW policies and procedures will be addressed by the St Georges Basin Football Club Committee and/or Shoalhaven District Football Association Committee as deemed necessary and appropriate action taken in accordance with Club, Association and FNSW guidelines.
- Refunds of Registration Fees:
- Refunds may be granted in full provided that:
- The player has not been listed on a team sheet in the relevant season
- The player has not made an insurance claim in the relevant season
iii. The player deregisters prior to 30th June of the relevant season
- Refunds involving Kids Active Vouchers:
- Kids Active Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and as such, the Club cannot refund the Kids Active Voucher portion directly to members.
- If your child registers with another sporting organisation, the Club can transfer the value of your child’s Active Kids Sports Voucher directly to the new sporting organisation
- Refunds when transferring clubs:
- No refund is granted where a player changes to another Football Club
- If the change is to another Football Club in the Shoalhaven District then you should only have to pay the ‘club fee’ portion of the registration fee with the new club as the SDFA fee and FNSW fees will have already been paid through your registration with St Georges Basin Football Club.
- Refunds of merchandise:
- In keeping with Fair Trading NSW consumer protection laws:
- St Georges Basin Football Club can provide a refund for merchandise whether the product proves to be faulty (please ensure you read the care instructions for clothing to minimise risk of dye running)
- Refunds due to ‘change of mind’ can be offered provided the item has not been worn
- Registration fees and Financial Assistance:
- Registration fees must be paid in full prior to the first game – no pay, no play.
- Please contact the club via basinsoccer@gmail.comif you are experiencing financial difficulty in regards to your registration.
- Should a payment plan be approved by the club, regular payment plans are to commence upon registration, and payment in full is required prior to the first game. Defaulted payments will be considered a withdrawal of your registration.
- Whilst club coordinators will do their best to accommodate requests for team placement, placement to your preferred team is not guaranteed and will be subject to team structure, availability, and grading results.
- All players in competition grade teams are subject to pre-season grading, to ensure team placement is most suited to the player and the team.
- Our club operates with the following in mind – The club comes first, then the team, then the player, then the parents. It is an expectation when joining our club, that all of our members are supportive, inclusive, committed and passionate about community soccer.
